A Yukon based ski touring program for April 5-11, 2025. This exciting trip will take us along a complete loop originating from Whitehorse Yukon. From there we will travel on roads and ski the St Elias Mountains near Haines Junction YT, Haines Pass BC, Haines AK, Skagway AK, and White Pass BC, before returning to Whitehorse.
This trip starts in Whitehorse, Yukon.
After a pre-trip meeting at our B&B in Whitehorse, we will travel with our group by van along the highway system in a counterclockwise loop through Haines Junction, Haines Pass, Haines, Skagway (by marine ferry), White Pass, and back to Whitehorse.
Through this 7day trip, we will ski various road side areas in the St Elias Mountains including Haines Pass and White Pass. We will access ski touring venues primarily from the road network while lodging in various B&B, cabins, and hotels. If weather allows, we will do a heli-access ski touring day from Haines.
After our 7th and final ski day, we will travel back to Whitehorse for a final evening together.
Advanced downhill skills preferred, previous powder ski touring experience required. Ability to link turns in variable snow conditions is also required. You will need to sign our digital liability waiver before making payment.
