Exclusive Program

A custom-designed trip allows you and your friends to enjoy the benefits of small guide-to-guest ratios and create an adventure specifically tailored to your skills and interests. Using your preferred timing, desired location and mountain adventure we design a customized itinerary to meet your skills, previous experience and time-frame. Even while on a trip, your guide will continue to adjust the program to suit you. ⇢

Time Investment

Hiring a guide privately can often reduce costs as it fits your schedule and meets your objectives efficiently. Custom trips are based on private guiding rates, guide to guest ratios and type of instructional course or mountain adventure (ski touring, mountaineering, hiking, rock climbing, ice climbing). Included in all programs are trip organization, professionally certified guiding services (ACMG / IFMGA), instructional services / material if applicable, required park and land permits, group safety, rescue and technical equipment. Please contact us directly for reduced rates for groups larger then those priced below. ⇢

Logistics

Pre-trip planing and logistics support is included in all our programs. So are professional guide services (ACMG / IFMGA), instructional services, material & handout if applicable, land permits & liability insurance, group safety gear, rescue & technical equipment. Guests are generally responsible for transportation to meeting location, personal gear and equipment, hut fees, snacks and lunches on trip, meals and lodging prior to most programs, trip cancellation insurance, trip interruption insurance and medical insurance. ⇢

Backcountry Skiing & Avalanche Training

CAD + $100/extra person/day + GST. Maximum 6 guests per guide

1:1 = $595 ($595/person)

1:2 = $695 ($347/person)

1:3 = $795 ($265/person)

1:4 = $895 ($223/person)

1:5 = $995 ($199/person)

1:6 = $1095 ($182/person)

There is an additional $100/day fee for overnight backcountry skiing programs

Guided Mountaineering & Alpine Climbing

CAD + $100/extra person/day + GST. Maximum 3 guests per guides

1:1 = $650 ($650/person)

1:2 = $750 ($375/person)

1:3 = $850 ($283/person)

Ratios are route dependent. Some objectives have an additional $300-$500 premium

Guided Rock Climbing

CAD + $100/extra person/day + GST. Maximum 3 guests per guides

1:1 = $575 ($575/person)

1:2 = $675 ($337/person)

1:3 = $775 ($258/person)

Ratios are route dependent. Some objectives have an additional $200-$500 premium

Guided Ice Climbing & Skills Courses

CAD + $100/extra person/day + GST. Maximum 2-6 guests per guides

1:1 = $650 ($650/person)

1:2 = $750 ($375/person)

1:3 = $850 ($283/person)

1:4 = $950 ($237/person)

1:6 = $1150 ($191/person)

Optimal ratios depend on specific climbs or skills courses. The ratio for guided ascents is 1-2 guests per guides. For skills courses, it is 1-6 guests per guides.

Mountaineering & Alpine Skills Courses

1:2 = $750 ($375/person)

1:3 = $850 ($283/person)

1:4 = $950 ($237/person)

Rock Climbing Skills Courses

1:2 = $675 ($337/person)

1:4 = $875 ($218/person)

1:5 = $975 ($195/person)

1:6 = $1075 ($179/person)

Guided Hiking

1:2 = $650 ($325/person)

1:3 = $750 ($250/person)

1:5 = $950 ($190/person)

1:6 = $1050 ($175/person)

Guided Overnight Backpacking

CAD + $100/extra person/day + GST. Maximum 6 guests per guides

1:1 = $650 ($650/person)

1:2 = $750 ($375/person)

1:3 = $850 ($283/person)

1:4 = $950 ($237/person)

1:5 = $1050 ($210/person)

1:6 = $1150 ($191/person)

Ratios are sometimes hike dependent.

All-inclusive programs

For an all-inclusive program, we can calculate additional fees as follows:

Breakfasts & dinners ($60/day), lodging (varies $125-175/day), hut/camping fees ($30-60/night), lift access fees ($45-$105/lift/day), guide travel costs ($50-150), guide food ($60/day), guide overnight fees ($75/day), group transport, technical equipment, wilderness passes, etc., plus admin costs (15-20% depending on the level of organization involved).
