Lodge Based Ski Weeks

British Columbia is blessed with dozens of very comfortable, fully serviced and exclusive backcountry ski touring lodges, offering reliable deep snow conditions, nestled in prime remote alpine terrain. These lodges provide an outstanding base for week-long high quality ski touring and ski mountaineering experiences. Most of them offer a range of fantastic tree skiing and high alpine terrain suitable for various groups needs. 

Every winter Summit Mountain Guides offers a few scheduled Backcountry lodge ski weeks. For 2015, David will be guiding a fully catered ski touring week at Sorcerer Lake Lodge on March 1 to 8.

Campbell Icefields, March 2016

For those already planning their winter 2016, we have secured a ski touring week at the Campbell Icefields Chalet from February 27 to March 5th 2016. This lodge is located in the Western Rockies just North of Golden in Southeastern BC. Completed in 2004, this remote fly-in lodge is modern & comfortable.

The surrounding terrain includes many potential ski peaks, open bowls as well as tree skiing in the chalet’s immediate vicinity. Join Summit Mountain Guides for this exclusive fully guided & catered 8 day trip.
